St. Augustine Parish Church

The church was first built in 1571 by Girolamo Cassar, but was rebuilt by Giuseppe Bonnici in 1765. Bishop Mgr G.M. Camilleri dedicated it in 1906 and Mgr Archbishop Michael Gonzi in 1968 made it a parish church. A number of the artefacts found inside the church are originals from the first church. St. Augustine Parich Church on-line tour contains a floor plan with photographs and descriptive text on all paintings and artefacts. The project was outsourced to Cyber WebCreations.
